Why a butterfly logo?
- We want to free you from the chore of  cleaning your home, as free as a butterfly.
 
Do you send teams?
- On a regular basis we send one housekeeper to clean your home.  On special cleanings   we sometimes will send more than one.
 
Do you send the same person back? - Yes,  every 
effort is made to send the same person each cleaning.
 
Do you carry damage insurance?
- Yes, we limit any loss to the replacement value, repair cost, or $500.00 whichever is   less.
 
Do you carry theft insurance
- Yes,  upon conviction items lost are replaced up to a total value of  $500.00.
 
Do you check backgrounds of your employees?
- Yes, employees are carefully screened before hiring.
 
What if a housekeeper is injured in my home?
- We carry Workers Comp Insurance on all our employees.
 
Are you Licensed?
- Yes, we are licensed in Madison County, Madison City, and Huntsville City.
 
Can you give me any references?
- Yes, call the Better Business Bureau to check us or anyone else out.  The number is (256) 533-1640.
 
Do you supply equipment and cleaners? 
- Yes, we can provide all cleaners and equipment for no extra charge.   We do ask that you provide a toilet brush.
 
How is payment made?
  - We ask for payment at time of cleaning.  Checks should be made out to   The Housekeepers Inc. and left on the kitchen     counter.   We also accept Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.  Just call the office prior to your cleaning to arrange this service.  

How do you get in if I’m not home? - We prefer a key location at your home. 

 
Is there a lock out fee?
- Yes, if we are locked out of your home we must charge a $25.00 fee.  This fee is used to compensate your housekeeper for drive time and expense.

Can I cancel or change my appointment?
- Yes, please give us a minimum 48 hour notice.   A $25.00 fee is charged for changes made less than 48 hours before your cleaning
 
Can I add rooms to my cleaning?
- Yes, please call the office to add rooms to your cleaning.  Your price will be changed to reflect the additional work.
 
What if my housekeeper is sick?
- We would send a substitute to clean.
 
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
- If any item on our list is not cleaned to your satisfaction we will return and   re-clean it free of charge.  Please call within 24 hours following your initial cleaning.
 
Why does the first time cost more?
-  First time cleanings take longer. 
 
Do you pick up before you clean?
- We do general straightening when we clean but we do ask that the  home is picked up to allow us time to clean.
